Dear HRTC Members
As we move to the end of winter I wish to highlight a few matters for you. Firstly, it is now a full year since we welcomed our (then) new Head Professional to the Club. Brett McFarlane has brought a great deal of energy to the Club and is popular and highly appreciated by the membership. I would like to take this opportunity to commend Brett on the high calibre of his work and on his approach to members, and to note that the committee receive frequent compliments about his work. Well done Brett and we look forward to many more years of working with you and receiving those tennis tips.
Secondly, I wish to flag that we are now ready to start seriously fund-raising for the Australian Open 2018 to be held in Hobart Jan 1-9 next year. You will shortly receive a newsletter with all the details, but I would just like to encourage you to get involved in supporting the game and future of real tennis by participating in the raffle, tennis or other events that will raise the prize pool.
For those who own businesses, or know business owners who may be interested in the Australian Open, there are some good value sponsorship packages – CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS
Finally, I would like to say thank you to the HRTC committee for all their volunteer work and support in running the Club so far this year – Nikki Millard, John Ramsay, Hans Drielsma, Justin Legg, Michelle Moores, Jeremy Rackham, Al Ramsay, Paul Dunne, and our newest member Andrew Brough.
Hope to see you at the Club soon
